Airwell Air Conditioner Error Codes

If the malfunction persists for 4 minutes after the device shuts down due to compressor protection, the error code will be directly displayed on the indoor unit's screen. Otherwise, pressing the LIGHT button six times within four seconds will display the error code.

Codes:

E2 - RUN indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks twice - Inner spiral defrost protection

Possible reasons:

- Poor air return to the indoor unit

- Incorrect fan speed

- Dirty evaporator

E4 - RUN indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks four times - Compressor overheat protection

Possible reasons:

- Communication problem or damage to EEV (Electronic Expansion Valve)

- Refrigerant leak

- Poor heat transfer

E5 - RUN indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks five times - Overvoltage Protection

Possible reasons:

- Intermittent supply voltage

- Supply voltage too low with a high load

E6 - RUN indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks six times - Communication failure

Possible reasons:

- Installation error

- Board problem in indoor or outdoor unit

HER - HEAT indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks fifteen times - EEPROM error (memory chip)

Solution: Replace indoor unit board

F0 - COOL indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks ten times - Lack of Freon or Block Protection

F1 - COOL indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks once - Malfunction of INTERNAL AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Possible reasons:

- Sensor is broken or damaged

- Circuit problem in temperature detection board

F2 - COOL indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks twice - Malfunction of INTERNAL TEMPERATURE SPIRAL sensor (RT2)

F3 - COOL indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks three times - Outside temperature sensor malfunction

F4 - COOL indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks four times - Malfunction of outdoor temperature sensor

F5 - COOL indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks five times - Compressor temperature sensor malfunction

H3 - HEAT indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks three times - Compressor overload protection

Possible reasons:

- Communication problem or damage to EEV (Electronic Aspiration Valve)

- Refrigerant leak

- OLP damage

H4 - HEAT indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks four times - System overload

Solution: Check for dirt and blockages in evaporator and condenser.

H6 - HEAT indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks six times - No feedback from indoor unit motor

Possible reasons:

- Damaged or blocked indoor fan motor

- Problem with indoor unit board

H7 - HEAT indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks seven times - Sync failure

Possible reasons:

- Incorrect input voltage

- Compressor installation error

- Liquid and gas valve not open

- Damaged EEV (Electronic Expansion Valve) or improper operation

- Poor heat transfer

HEAT indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks eleven times - Air conditioner start failure

Possible reasons:

- Compressor installation error

- Recharge system

- System not balanced before starting compressor

Possible reasons:

- Voltage below 150 V

- Outdoor circuit board circuit failure

U1 - HEAT indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks thirteen times - Compressor phase failure

Solution: Replace outdoor main board or outdoor unit board

U5 - COOL indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks thirteen times - AC problem detected

Solution: Replace outdoor unit board

U7 - COOL indicator off for 3 seconds and blinks twenty times - Check Valve Malfunction

Possible reasons:

- Voltage lower than 175V

- Check valve clamp assembly loose or broken

- Check valve damaged

UA - HEAD and COOL indicators flash twelve times simultaneously - Configuration errors

Solution: The indoor unit does not match the outdoor unit

UF - HEAD and COOL indicators blink seven times simultaneously - Zero transition protection (indoor unit)

Solution: Replace indoor unit board

UH - HEAD and COOL indicators blink eight times simultaneously - No feedback from external unit motor

Possible reasons:

- Damaged or blocked external unit motor

- Problem with outdoor unit board

UU - HEAD and COOL indicators blink eleven times simultaneously - DC over current

Possible reasons:

- High voltage
