Protherm was founded in 1991 in the Czech Republic. The first plant of the company was located in Prague and was engaged in the manufacture of electric boilers. However, the growth in sales is forcing the company's management to expand production and move it to Slovakia, to the city of Skalica. Such rapid development leads to the fact that by 1993 the company occupies 65% of the market for electric boilers in Eastern Europe. A year later, Protherm launches the production of gas and oil-fired boilers. In 1997, the company received the ISO 9001 quality certificate and began to export its products to England and Germany. At the same time, the production of solid fuel and condensing boilers, as well as boilers, was launched. In 2013, the company starts manufacturing solar collectors.
The company's products are distinguished by a very wide range, availability and high quality. However, the Protherm service network can be considered a truly unique feature of the brand - more than one and a half thousand service centers are located only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia!
Since 2010, the Protherm brand has become part of the red brands Saunier Duval Brand Group of the Vaillant Group, significantly changing its corporate identity.
Since its opening in 1992, the Vaillant Group plant located in Skalica, Slovakia, has been the main production site of the Protherm brand. To date, over 400 employees of the plant annually manufacture over 350 thousand boilers supplied to 25 countries of the world. The range of products manufactured by the plant includes wall and floor gas boilers, condensing boilers, solid and liquid fuel boilers, heat pumps and industrial heating boilers. The quality management system in production is organized in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard and is annually audited by Bureau Veritas Quality International.
Depending on the type of product to be produced, the assembly line can be arranged according to the conveyor principle (for example, for large and heavy floor standing boilers) or according to the “one piece flow” principle, where each boiler is assembled from the beginning and to the end by one master, who is personally responsible for the result and quality of work. On each production line, final quality control, checking of safety elements and the control unit of each boiler is organized.
A testing laboratory is located on the territory of the plant, which allows constantly testing products, testing new structural elements and technologies. In addition to our own research and testing, Protherm brand products are annually tested by foreign testing laboratories.
Protherm Cheetah Series
CHEETAH. PROTHERM Gepard is a wall-mounted heating gas boiler with the function of preparing hot water (double-circuit) with two separate heat exchangers, built-in pump and expansion tank. The power of the gas boiler Proterm Gepard is regulated by a modulating burner, the average efficiency of the boiler for the heating season is 92%. The boiler is available in two versions - forced exhaust of combustion products (KTV) or natural exhaust of combustion products.
